A Typical Day at Benmore

Times are movable, depending on length of activities but here is a typical timetable:

7.30am - 8.00am Wake up
8.30-9.00am Breakfast
9.00 - 9.30am Chores and Dorm Inspection
9.30am Meet in Common Room then meet Instructors
9.30am -12.30pm Morning Activity
12.30-1.30pm Lunch
1.30-5.00pm Afternoon Activity
5.00pm Tea and Cake then Free Time
6.15pm - 7.00pm Dinner
7.15pm -8pm Diary Time and Tuckshop
8.15pm - 9.15pm Evening Activity
In bed by 9.30pm and Lights Out 9.45pm

We were so impressed by how well almost all of our children managed to organise themselves and help each other to be on time. Excellent group!

Group One Shore Walk

Instructors Euan and Ewen took intrepid Group One and Mrs Mackay on an exciting shore walk adventure - an activity we haven't done at Sciennes for at least ten years. A strong and 'give it a go' group, they were even game for a dip in the sea at the end, quickly followed by a warming hot chocolate before heading back to the centre, soggy but glowing with their own achievements.
